The Journey Ahead

Thirty seconds up through the worlds you will climb, set to carols and a music box. Turn the sound on for the music.

Tilt, tap and climb

A cozy storybook climber. Santa bounces on his own; you steer, time your landings and keep going up.

  1. Gameplay: the player tilts the phone left and right and Santa turns to face each way as he hops between the ledges of the Christmas Village, catching Presents.

    Tilt to steer

Santa bounces off every ledge by himself. Tilt your phone left and right to steer him onto the next one, and gather every Present on the way up.

  2. Gameplay: Santa in the Ivory suit throws his Candy Cane three times in a row, hooks the ledge above and is pulled up through the Sapphire Hookway, catching a new cane on each ledge.

    Uncover new powers

Each world’s suit brings its own power. Ivory’s Candy Cane, for one, hooks the ledge above and pulls Santa up.

  3. Gameplay: All the Presents!, with fireworks, Pip’s sleigh and Snowflake towing Santa up.

Pip’s sleigh and All the Presents!

Tap exactly as Santa lands for a Carol Jump: a higher bounce that rings the next note of a carol. Eight in a row finish the verse: “Carol!” Four more notes finish the chorus and All the Presents! begins: Pip the elf’s sleigh flies over, Snowflake pulls Santa up and Presents rain down.

Seven worlds, ground to sky

Each world is one tall painting that rises from the ground to the sky. Climb them in the order of the book.

  1. The Christmas Village at night: snowy timber houses lit by lanterns, a cobbled street and the northern lights.

    Christmas Village

Where every climb begins: springy ledges, gusts and crumbling snow above a lantern-lit street.

  2. The Toy Workshop: shelves of toys and a rocking horse on both sides, a round window and a red rug on a wooden floor.

    Toy Workshop

Conveyor belts, jack-in-the-boxes, wind-up soldiers and paper planes, where the Frost Shield is found.

  3. The Frostthorn Conservatory: a frozen glasshouse with a spiral stair, pine trees behind the glass and lanterns on frosted vines.

    Frostthorn Conservatory

A frozen glasshouse of thorn ledges, swinging pods and tilting leaves, home of the Thorn Guard.

  4. The Sapphire Hookway: a cave of blue ice with frozen waterfalls and glowing lanterns.

    Sapphire Hookway

Ice cascades, dripping icicles and spinning ice wheels, with a Candy Cane to hook the ledge above.

  5. Moonfizz Biscuit Borough: tall gingerbread houses with candy canes and glowing windows under a purple sky.

    Moonfizz Biscuit Borough

Gingerbread houses, bonbon bubbles, meringue pads and cookie men, and streaks of Presents worth more.

  6. The Lantern Balloon Fjord: a wooden dock above a still fjord with lantern-lit boats and mountains in the distance.

    Lantern Balloon Fjord

Balloon baskets, warm updrafts, snow gulls and ziplines over the water, and Lucky Hearts to catch a fall.

  7. The Starlight Orrery: a night sky of golden stars and crescent moons hung on strings, with the northern lights behind.

    The Starlight Orrery

Constellation bridges, moon wells, comets and orbiting planets at the top of the sky.

Christmas in every note

Snow on the rooftops, lanterns in the windows and a carol in the air. Every world has its own song, chosen with care to capture both the magic of the holidays and the playful spirit of the climb: a music box in the Toy Workshop, a waltz beneath the Conservatory’s glass dome, a harp drifting through the Sapphire Hookway, a bouncy tune among the biscuit towers of Moonfizz Borough. Make some cocoa, turn the sound on, and let the music carry you up.

A storybook Christmas

A storm has cracked the Aurora Star and scattered the Presents across the North Pole. Follow the story in illustrated storybook pages, and bring the star’s light back, one world at a time.

Snowflake has your back. When a jump goes wrong, Snowflake can swoop in and lift Santa back up. She also brings a gift of Presents every few hours.

The story plays offline, so it goes where you go.

  • Storybook page: Santa with a bag of Presents at the workshop door, beside Pip and the reindeer sleigh.
  • Storybook page: a storm of swirling snow around the glowing Aurora Star.
  • Storybook page: Santa meets Snowflake, a little snowflake in a red scarf, in a snowdrift.
  • Storybook page: Santa climbs a snowy stair with Snowflake riding on his shoulder.

How high can you go?

Endless is a climb that never stops. Every world you finish joins it, each run happens in one of them, and it only gets higher and harder.

  • Beat your Best height and chain carols.
  • Take up to two power items with you, or catch them on the way up.
  • Every suit keeps its own record, and there is a Daily Climb. Records go to Game Center on iPhone and iPad.
  • Endless mode: Santa and a snowball critter on icy ledges, with the Best height at the top of the screen and the banner “How high can you go?”.
  • A new record on screen: “New record!” over 61 metres, with the banner “Compete with your friends”.
